Detailing Australia's Most Hectic Jazz GD3: Enson's K-Swapped Mugen Build

Some cars you detail. Some cars you get to detail. Enson's Jazz GD3 is very much the latter.

This thing is a full K-series swap wrapped in what's basically a Mugen catalogue come to life — built through Dream Performance Australia. No cut corners, no budget substitutes — just about every panel, badge, and bracket on this car wears the Mugen "M" for a reason. When a build this serious rolls in for a detail, you treat it with the respect it deserves.

The Car

Out went the factory engine, in went a full K-swap — the conversion that's turned countless Jazz/Fit owners into believers, built to be driven properly, not just shown off. Wrap that around Mugen aero, body kit, badging, and trim, and you've got one of the most hectic GD3s on the road in Australia.

The Work: Mini Detail, Tint Removal & Headlight Polish

Our job was to bring the presentation up to match the build itself:

  • Mini detail: a full going-over to get the paint and exterior looking as sharp as the mods underneath it

  • Tint removal: stripped the rear tint back so the roll bar is actually visible through the glass — pure cop bait, and exactly the look Enson was after

  • Headlight polish: cleared up the oxidation and haze so the headlights look factory-fresh again, finishing off the front end properly

Small jobs on paper, but on a car built to this standard, the details matter just as much as the K-swap and the Mugen parts list.

The Result

A car that already turns heads for its engineering now looks the part too — clean, sharp, and with that roll bar on full display through crystal-clear glass. Big thanks to Enson for trusting us with it.
