Our First Time Vendoring: Koka Dept x Pandem Cars and Chill Meet

We recently had the opportunity to set up as a vendor for the first time at the Koka Dept x Pandem Cars and Chill Meet, and it was a great experience from start to finish.

This one was a bit different for us. We've been to plenty of car meets and even hosted our own, but this was the first time we set up a full stand to showcase HAXS products — rather than just rocking up with a car. Getting the chance to do that alongside names like Koka Dept and Pandem, two brands that have built serious respect in the car culture space, made it even better.

Setting Up the Stand

We put together a full setup showcasing the HAXS product range from haxs.com.au — towels, wash mitts, cleaners, and detailing packs — so people could actually see and feel the products rather than just scrolling past them online. To keep things fun, we ran two games at the stand throughout the day: the dice game, where you had to roll a 6 or a 7 (yes, we know — the meme was too good to pass up), and a bottle flip game. Simple stuff, but it worked exactly how we hoped — people stopped, had a laugh, and stuck around to chat.

Friends Who Showed Up For Us

A huge part of the day came down to our mates. Big thanks to the boys who helped transport all the products on the day, brought their own cool cars down to display alongside the stand, and stuck around to lend a hand running things. Events like this are a lot more fun — and honestly a lot more manageable — with good people around you.

What We Took Away From the Day

If we're being honest, this event wasn't about walking away with a stack of sales. The real value was in the exposure and the networking. Events like this bring together people who are genuinely embedded in car culture — other detailers, brand owners, builders, and enthusiasts who take their cars seriously. Getting to meet so many people, have good conversations, and put faces to names is exactly the kind of groundwork that pays off long-term.

First of Many

This was our first time vendoring at an event like this, but it definitely won't be the last. It's a different kind of exposure to running our own meets, and one we're keen to keep doing as HAXS grows.
